At the core of our business is the belief in giving back to the communities in which we live and work. We are honored to support local organizations that strive to make life better in our Pennsylvania communities.
From conservation programs to food banks, community parks, fire departments, children’s health organizations, STEM programs and Special Olympics Pennsylvania, we are investing time and money to help Pennsylvanians.
We are proud to support America’s favorite pastime through our sponsorship of the Phillies Home Run Derby, which supports events throughout the state that reach more than 10,000 girls and boys. We have also donated more than $150,000 to more than 25 Little League associations throughout the state.
This included support for the Mickey Vernon Little League Baseball Association in Delaware County, which received a $5,000 grant to purchase new equipment and uniforms for the 85 children in the organization. League representative Samantha Curry said, “Energy Transfer is a longstanding member of this community, and this grant will help to further our mission to provide youth baseball to the children of our community.”
We are also a proud partner of Special Olympics Pennsylvania’s Law Enforcement Torch Run and its mission to broaden opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities.
Overall, we have committed to donating more than $1 million in 2019. At Energy Transfer, we want to leave a legacy of giving that will be woven into the lives of generations of Pennsylvanians to come. We are proud to be a part of the Pennsylvania community.
